He is a director and a screenwriter who graduated from the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School. He is one of the most original film creators in Israeli cinema. He often deals with the heroes of the non-hegemonic groups in Israeli society, like new immigrants, foreign workers, residents of the periphery and people of Middle Eastern ethnicity.
His films include "No. 17 is Anonymous" (2003), "Melanoma My Love" (2005), "A Hebrew Lesson" (2006), "The Tale of Nicolai & the Law of Return" (2008), and "L’harog Et Savta" (2015). His films have won many awards in Israel and abroad.
